The Castaway Foundation Inc, was formed by a young woman whom was a former foster child. This young woman Gloria Smith-Hillson Knew first hand, what it was like to be a disadvantaged youth in an urban community. Through her desire to see under privileged youth get the much needed mentorship, she created the Castaway Foundation. The Castaway Foundation in the near future will provide Transitional to Permanent housing for Disadvantaged Aging Out Youth.
